This is a way Christina Aguliera is using Spotify to promote her new album.
There is an advert/take-over where she’s talking about the competition. Users have to compile a play-list of their top 10 songs of hers and share it with all their friends on Spotify, Facebook and Twitter. The one with the highest amount of sharing gets free tickets to a concert of hers.
You can listen to her new track on Spotify and it uses Facebook connect so you can instantly become a fan on Facebook.
This is a lovely example of promotion across different outposts, I’m sure you can only start to imagine the reach this is going to get.
