Volkswagen L1 Concept

The diesel engine, E-motor and DSG help the L1 achieve an impressive 158 mpg, giving it a range of 416 miles on its 2.6-gallon tank. It might take a bit longer to get there, though, as 62 mph is reached in a leisurely 14.3 seconds.

Audi R8 Spyder

The new R8 5.2, powered by a 518-hp, 391-lb-ft 5.2-liter V-10 mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed R tronic sequential transmission. 0-62 mph is achieved in just 4.1 seconds, top speed sits at 195 mph.The R8 Spyder will go on sale in Germany in the first quarter of 2010 at a price of 156,400 euros ($230,581).

Lamborghini Reventon Roadster

The Reventon Roadster is essentially a Reventon with a removable roof. It’s powered by the same 6.5L V-12, though it now makes 670 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque and can hit 62 mph in just 3.4 secs and a top speed of 205 mph

Audi e-tron Concept

Powering the 3527-lb all-electric sports car are four electric motors generating a combined 313 hp and a semi-truck-like 3319 lb-ft of torque, which propel it from 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds though top speed is limited to just 124 mph. Power for the motors comes from a lithium-ion battery rated for 42kWh that provides a range of approximately 154 miles.

Mini Roadster Concept

The 1.6L twin-scroll turbocharged engine from the Cooper S finds its way under the Roadster Concept’s bonnet to provide 175 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque
